ABOUT SME
Founded in 1992 by Jerry and Craig Moyes.
Jerry Moyes purchased Stott Steel from Gale Stott and that was the beginning of something new! SME (Structural, Miscellaneous and Erection) serves a diverse range of sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, and more. With multiple plants across the Western U.S. Companies within the SME family specialize in miscellaneous metal and custom steel finishing, the most-trusted and industry standard seismic bracing and both seismic-controlled and wind-controlled moment frame connections, and logistics.
Today, SME continues the legacy established by our founders. We execute the projects that are too challenging or too big for others and we do so with a focus on safety and quality for our partners and team members.
